What is the basic gameplay loop?

The stable loop is simple: summon units, deploy them against waves, upgrade useful placements, and evolve the roster when the live requirements are met. The official Roblox listing identifies Anime Origins as a Strategy game in the Tower Defense subgenre and names Story Mode, Infinite Mode, and Raids.

The practical challenge is deciding what to change between waves. A unit is not valuable only because it is rare; it must solve the pressure in front of you at the time you can place it.

Read the stage before placing everything

At the start of a run, look for the route enemies follow, the first important bend, the target that survives longest, and the amount of space available for later placements. Place enough early defense to learn the stage without spending every resource immediately.

Ask three questions:

  1. Where does the first leak happen?
  2. Which unit or placement could prevent that leak next time?
  3. Will that change still help when stronger waves arrive?

This keeps a small mistake from becoming a complete rebuild after every attempt.

Upgrade in response to evidence

Upgrade the unit that is already positioned to solve a visible problem. A damage upgrade is useful when a durable target is consistently surviving; a range or coverage improvement matters when enemies pass outside your existing reach. An economy choice needs enough remaining run time to repay its cost.

Do not assume an upgrade is better because its name sounds stronger. Read the current panel, note the changed stat or effect, and compare the same stage again. If the interface does not explain a mechanic, label it as unconfirmed instead of turning a guess into a rule.

Review the run after the result screen

Write down the mode, stage, roster, notable upgrades, placements, and first failure. A useful review sounds like “boss survived because priority damage arrived two waves late,” not “the team felt weak.” Keep the baseline for one more test and alter one important variable.

For mode-specific decisions, see Story Mode, Infinite Mode, and Raids. Their pressure can differ, so a formation that works in one mode is not automatically universal.

How should you use other wiki pages?

Use Units to understand roles, Tier Lists to shortlist candidates, and Systems to check upgrades, traits, and artifacts. Use Codes for current reward entries. Always compare version dates and the live game interface before committing scarce resources.
