What are artifacts in Anime Origins?

Artifacts are discussed by the Anime Origins community as a unit-growth system. The official Roblox description currently confirms unit upgrades and evolutions but does not explain artifact rules, so this page treats artifact details as [待补充] until the live interface or an official announcement verifies them.

What should you confirm before using an artifact?

CheckEvidence to save
Exact nameThe full in-game label, not a shortened community nickname.
EffectA screenshot of the visible description and any restriction.
AcquisitionThe menu, mode, NPC, or reward screen where it appears.
Cost or requirementThe live value and August 2026 version context.
Unit and mode testedThe unit form, upgrade state, trait, map, and result.

How do you test whether an artifact is useful?

Test it against one clear purpose. For example, check whether it improves a carry’s real bottleneck, helps a placement-limited unit cover a route, or changes a long-run economy decision. Use comparable conditions before and after; switching the team, map, and placement together does not prove what the artifact changed.

Artifact research note template

Record the date, game version, artifact name, exact tooltip, source screen, unit, mode, setup, and observed outcome. Flag a result as a community observation until someone can reproduce it.

When should artifacts take priority?

Only after a core unit already has a defined role and its basic upgrades or evolution are understood. Compare a possible artifact benefit with a known improvement from traits or a roster gap found in the beginner progression guide.
